2.   Prof. Kumthekar M. B and Prof. Konnur B. A. attended one-week administrative training program for engineering college teachers at NITTTR extension center, Pune organised by National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research, Bhopal from 20th November 2006 to 25th November 2006.

3.   Prof. S. S. Nimbalkar attended two weeks induction training program for engineering college teachers at NITTTR extension center, Pune organised by National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research, Bhopal from 5th June 2006 to 17th June 2006.

4.   Prof. R. K. Rai and V. T. Patil attended two weeks workshop on “Base Isolation Techniques for Earthquake Resistant Design, 2006 “ at Government College of Engineering Karad, from 27th November 2006 to 9th December 2006.

 

Ph.D. Submission:

Prof. S. S. Nimbalkar submitted his Ph. D. thesis entitled “Seismic Analysis of Retaining Walls by Pseudo-dynamic Method” on 22nd November 2006. He pursued his doctoral studies under college teacher category in I.I.T., Bombay, Mumbai.

 

Industrial visit:

1.   Prof. P.K.Deshpande arranged visit to Teri Dam (Himachal Pradesh) for M.E. Civil students from 11/12/2006 to 26/12/2006.

2.   Prof. S. S. Nimbalkar and Prof. M. B. More arranged field visit to Swarganga Project (Goyalganga group), Vallabhnagar, Pimpri to study “Construction procedure of cast-in-situ pile foundations” for T. E. civil students on 15th February 2007.

3.   Prof. N. T. Suryawanshi and Prof. M. B. More arranged visit to Water Treatment Plant at Karad for T.E. civil students on 10/09/2006.

4.   Prof. Mrs. Ekande and Prof. M. B. More arranged visit to Mayni and Suzlon Energy on “Environmental studies” for S. E. civil students on 10/02/2007.
